Formed originally in March 2009 as Fermanagh Creative Writing Group, Fermanagh Writers took on its current name in March 2012. Some members are only just discovering their writing voice; others are regularly published, seasoned authors. Our diverse backgrounds, writing goals and experiences have created a unique entity in County Fermanagh. Our prose and poetry will entertain, amuse nand give the reader pause for thought.
We began to publish Corncrake Magazine, an on-line Writing and Arts magazine in 2016. A blog archive of our activity before then can be found here.
Fermanagh Writers have released several anthologies so far – Tuesdays at Charlie’s, our first collection of stories and poetry, was released in May 2012 and was shortlisted in Writing Magazine’s 2012 Anthology contest. See our Publications page for a full list.
