Further congratulations are due to John D. Kelly. This time it’s for his success in the Fish Flash Fiction Prize. His piece, Untethered, was selected as one of the top 10 from an entry of 1250. Glenn Patterson judged the contest and said of the piece, “As convincing a goat as ever told a tale”. Untethered has received an honorary mention in the prize list and will be included in the 2014 Fish Anthology.

THE 2014 FISH ANTHOLOGY will be launched at the West Cork Literary Festival on 9th July. All of the writers who feature in the Anthology will be invited to read from their submissions. The Anthology will be available on the Fish website, Amazon, and in bookshops from the second week of July.
